One of sri lankan constraction site is Greater Colombo Wastewater Management Project, her around around the colombo have more then 100 years old pump stations. that old pump stations to do demobilize and build with new upgrade system.

BORELLA PUMP STATION (Borella P/S) one of the pump station for Greater Colombo Wastewater Management Project. her have several kind of trees and little big then compare  with other sites.

2. USED CHEMICAL AT SITE

• while over-the-counter chemicals include larvicides are used in water to control mosquito breeding.

• May be used in all types of containerized mosquito breeding areas
• Active material is released at the surface as well as gradually settling to the bottom
• Effective in controlling 100 Square feet of water for at least thirty days

3. MOSQUITO CONTROL REGISTER 

In site fallowing mosquito control register sheet they if find any issues about mosquito breeding we tack action with site current sub contractor EHS officer and keep the record. it will be help when PHI visit to site and LnT EHSO team check the Register book week to week.

3. MOSQUITO FOGGING HIGH RESOLATION

L&T EHS department provide mosquito fogging high resolution once every two weeks.
